This week's Doctor Who may have elicited a giant gasp at the end, but thanks to the deft skills of episode writer Jamie Mathieson, I was a little short on "Oxygen" myself the whole way through.

"Oxygen" has the makings of a legitimately great episode compressed to the point that it's stuck closer to very good. It's hard to fault a television episode its overambition, least of all an episode of Doctor Who.
