The superb "D.P." is not an easy series to watch. While not as gory as "Squid Game," it's more disturbing in many ways, because it deals with South Korea's real-life mandatory military duty and the brutality that ensues. Go to Full Review

Berni P @BerniPx Sep 7 A gut-wrenching analysis of a real-world issue. You can feel the pain the characters go through. My deepest respect goes to the creators for being courageous enough to shine light on a criminally overlooked problem. Also, the show miraculously manages to keep our protagonists good and likeable, despite them carrying out harsh and cruel orders. A minor critique: Ho-Yeol was the most unique and interesting character, so more exploration of his backstory and motivation would have been interesting.
