A delicious blend of horror and humor that more-or-less balances modern sensibilities and the character's beloved legacy, Dracula is a frighteningly fun -- if not always faithful -- time. Read critic reviews

Excelente, exquisita, brillante. Una mezcla de terror, misterio, clásico y moderno. Con un toque de humor negro hacen de esta miniserie una obra para nuestros tiempos.

The first episode was off to a very promising start, genuinely creepy and exceptionally well done especially at the beginning, however by the second episode the story had d well and truly igressed into a sort of idiotic, tedious, plotless blunder all with a sort of "chick flick" feel to it. A fairly rapid plummet into disappointment. With an increasingly annoying performance from Dracula. Nearly made it to the end of the second episode by which time I was thoroughly disengaged.

Adored this show and Dracula was Incredible ! my favourite character was sister Abigail. My only disappointment was no Dracula sex scene…

Claes Bang was great. Loved the humour and the gore. But the first episode was the best. 2nd a waste of time and I was bored with the 3rd and just Wiki'd the ending.

It was...alright- to say the least. Nothing extraordinary, byt not terrible either. The first episode featuring Jonathan and Dracula was one of the best, the third episode following closely behind with Lucy's actress's marvelous performance. I loved the sarcastic humor of the count himself! I do, however, feel that they could have done without the sexual tension between Dracula and the female Van Helsing character. And what the hwck does this series have against Mina?? Only giving her a couple lines in the entire series and completely killing off Jonathan. I must say I prefer the versions whhere Jonathan lives (a bit of a rariety now a days in the films/series) and he and Mina go on to live happy lives after the death of Dracula. I was also disappointed that Renfield had such few lines as well, as ypu could use him to explore relationships with both Dracula and Mina (Mina veing one of the only few pwople to consider him an actual person in the book). The second epispde could have been completely skipped over, in my opinion. Might as well have hust called it "Dracula - On a Boat!"

A fresh and different spin on one of entertainment's more revered villans. The 3 part show is letdown by the final instalment though which is a shame for this intelligent re-telling.

As soon as the lawyer shows up to release Dracula, I switched off.

Initially excited to see a new take on "Dracula" I was sad to be so disappointed. The acting performances were good but by the end of even the first episode it was clear that the story as presented was veering far from the source material. Not necessarily bad but here it seemingly became all about style over substance.

Please stop giving Steven Moffat TV shows to drive into the ground. He will do an awesome job at making you feel like something brilliant is about to happen, only to realise that his ideas were rubbish all along and he has no idea how to bring storylines he teased for hours on end to a satisfying conclusion.

This show was so awful it drove me to create a rotten tomatoes account just to leave a bad review.
