Hisone Amakasu is a rookie in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, located at the Gifu Air Base. While there, a concealed dragon, Masotan, chooses her to be his pilot, which leads her to discover that being a dragon pilot is her destiny, and she undergoes fighter pilot training for an upcoming mission for Hisone and the other dragon pilots. The pilots eventually go on the mission, under the watchful eye of the command center.

It's honestly just very fun and enjoyable to watch this, which I can't say for other shows. Idk, it's like candy. It's so sad to see that there is no second season and all I am left with is a gaping hole within myself that is unable to be filled.
