Cole Hauser and a firecracker Kelly Reilly ride off for Texas to prove they can sell the core spirit of ‘Yellowstone’ without Montana or Kevin Costner. It ain’t easy, but it’s fun watching them try. Go to Full Review

Trisha J @Tris65 21h Won't say it's really good but it's not bad. It's less soapy than yellow stone. The strong love and honesty between Beth and lip is also refreshing in the TV landscape today. See more Max D. @RT46078524 2d Great so far, admittedly Sheridan has a lot building in his universe, but it's for good reason. And this is one of my favorites so far. See more R T. @RT78362060 2d I was truly enjoying the series until the cinematography became excessively dark, making it difficult to watch. The series was quite engaging before the decision was made to adopt this darker filming style. I particularly appreciate Kelly's character. However, the blonde character who serves as Carter's love interest feels somewhat clichéd and could potentially be omitted. Sheridan's work is extraordinary and does not require the use of such dark cinematography. I hope it reverts back to what worked before. The storyline is improving, but still doesn't measure up to The Lioness. Note: how in the heck did this dark cinematography catch on? See more Brian F @Perusal 3d There's something addictive in these Sheridan things. The dialogue is often clunky with too many mini-monologues. People spew out sayings instead of talking. These two aren't really that likable of characters. They were moved from beautiful Montana to dry Texas on a thin plot pretense for the producer's convenience. Mr. Hauser must have known he was about to step into a lead role, where was the personal trainer and chef? I know actors bodies get scrutinized too much, but he does not look like he could last through a long day's work. Also, his black shirt magically does not get dirty out in the dust on a horse. Still, the violence and soundtrack are addictive enough to watch and hope for better. See more Lena H @Lena99 4d Just watched the two episodes, first 5 minutes I knew it's miles better than "Marshals" already. Enjoyed the two episodes so far. See more Jane M @RT6799875 4d It's a satisfying mix of intrigue, action, and modern Western drama. Beth and Rip are still one of the strongest TV couples around See more Read all reviews
