It sometimes feels like it's trying too hard to recreate the Yellowstone formula instead of finding its own voice. With that being said Beth’s character was less aggravating than at the end of Yellowstone. No fighting men and knocking them out. That stuff was a bridge too far. Nice to see a new setting. Unfortunate we didn’t get more time at their new set up first. Rip is still the man and the additions to the cast were great. Very enjoyable and any cringiness that kept me from watching sooner wasn’t really present.
