Tv Season Info

Off the first season's shocking finale and fatal fire, the resilient Carringtons will rise from the ashes to redefine themselves after a major personal loss, as well as the sale of their family's company. Determined to prove herself the savior of their empire, the cunning and charismatic Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) will attempt to rebrand her family's dynasty, but a twenty-five year old in charge of liquid billions just might turn out to be a disastrous combination. Almost as disastrous as Fallon?s romances... She finds herself falling in love with a man whose family is wealthier and crazier than her own and of whom Blake (Grant Show) does not approve. Nor does Alexis (Nicollette Sheridan), who will find new ways to meddle in her daughter's life as only a mother can. Meanwhile, the rivalry between the Colbys and Carringtons heats up, and the families embark on Atlanta?s most outrageous pissing contest, causing new Colbys to come out of the woodwork, namely Blake?s stepsister, the iconic Dominique Deveraux, and the arrival of Anders? (Alan Dale) daughter threatens to shake things up when she unpacks her trunk-load of secrets about the Carrington family. Despite all of these rocky relationships, and even more surprise guests slated to rear their heads in Season Two, the Carringtons will once again prove that blood is thicker than oil, and that there?s nothing like the diamond-encrusted ties that bind.

Twenty-Three Skidoo had all of the soapy twists we've come to expect from this CW drama series, and it left me wanting more.

The worst thing about losing the Cristal character is that for some reason we still have to keep Blake. This episode does its level best to make him interesting, but it only warrants a Fallon nose wrinkle at best, not even a full-on eye roll.

The season two premiere of Dynasty brought back all the opulence, excess, and soapy drama that we love about the series. The characters moved back into their manipulative and complex ways for new problems that changed their lives.

Audience Reviews for Dynasty: Season 2

  • Aug 31, 2020
Dynasty is still my favorite soap opera of all time. Elizabeth Gillies gives two exceptional standout performances as both Fallon and Alexis Carrington (she gives a fantastic spot-on impression of Nicollette Sheridan, one of the best impressions I have ever seen). The other performances from Sam Underwood, Nicollette Sheridan, Rafael de La Fuente, Michael Michele, Maddison Brown, Alan Dale, Wakeema Hollis, Adam Huber, Grant Show, James Mackay, Katherine LaNasa, Brianna Brown, Ana Brenda Contreras, and Sam Adegoke were outstanding. The costumes were phenomenal especially the Wizard of Oz costumes in "That Witch" and the masquerade party outfits in "Life Is a Masquerade Party" as well as costumes throughout the season on Elizabeth Gillies, Nicollette Sheridan, Michael Michele, Wakeema Hollis, Ana Brenda Contreras, Rafael de La Fuente, Sam Adegoke, and Maddison Brown. The makeup and hairstyling was stupendous especially on Elizabeth Gillies (especially as Alexis), Nicollette Sheridan, Wakeema Hollis, Maddison Brown, Michael Michele, and Ana Brenda Contreras. The writing was terrific. The character development was excellent especially with Fallon, Alexis, Steven, Sam, Adam, Kirby, Blake, Cristal, Michael, Joseph, Liam, and Claudia. The chemistry between the cast is just amazing. The music is remarkable. An A+ sophomore season.

It embraces its insane comedy a bit more than before and is perhaps even more fun.

No expectations after season 1. I went in waiting for the cliches, the twists and the laughs. It delivers. Binge watching on Netflix was great. Again, my expectations were not high brow, and I understood from the first season what it was. I found myself tossed around and bit on who I wanted to win, but the thing is, I actually cared. That has to be a win. Good stuff so long as you are not expecting masterpiece theatre. Lots of snobbish reviews about writing and stuff are hoity toity caca. If you are here, you probably watched season 1 and you are not disappointed.

Most characters are stupid, including Blake. Some Bad plots.
  • Jun 14, 2020
Season 1 was fun, entertaining and smart, albeit some absurd plots. However season 2, I only made it to chapter 5 until it made me sick in my stomach. It became a cardboard live version of powerpuff girls. Full of crapish nonsense and way too forced situations it became unberable. I'm not planning to waste my time on it. I've had enough.

I didn't really like the season finale, the new Cristal or that Steven didn't show up as often as he used to. He was one of the better characters. His relationship with Sam was really well developed in the first season. So it was really disappointing that they broke up. Sadly we never see Steven again. The storyline of him explaining how Adam tricked him would have been awesome. What's better in this season is the drama and the plot. I like how complicated Fallon's relationships are. Jeff's storyline is also really good. On par with the first season. Maybe a tiny bit worse if someone would put a gun on my head to decide :)

Not as well at the first season but still interesting

First season was so much more riveting. Bring back Critsal Carrington 😭
  • Dec 04, 2019
I love all the seasons so far... I hate the cliff hangers but only because it's so good!!! Adam is really creepy and I love when Fallon puts him in his place when he tries to be inappropriate lol

Everyone should watch this show. It's full of drama, humor, suspense, everything. I love, love it.
