Utterly adored Winx Club as a child, and as a fan of the original material this has been painful to watch and not in a fun way. They took away the magic of Winx and riverdaleafied it .

If you like CW's brand of depressing melodrama and conspiracy-type storylines, give it a try. If you prefer well-written, multi-faceted shows, then don't even glance at it. Even putting the source material aside, it's a cliched high school soap opera, with the typical stupid evil adults and toxic/tragic backstoried students who refuse to trust anybody who has their best interests in mind. There are no short-term light-hearted secondary plots to break up the tedium of the main ones, the characters seem to be together more because they're forced to be than because they actually want to be friends, and they act like a bunch of suicidal lemmings, just running at and throwing themselves off of one metaphorical cliff after another. And I'm not even sure why Riven and Dane were put in there, since their only purpose seems to be background characters, when they're not getting high using a weed vape (sure, because the 'smoking cessation aid' hasn't become a big enough problem already, let's encourage it more,) and sleeping with Beatrix.

Really surprised at the low score given to this series! I really enjoyed it. Characters are likeable, endearing and fully formed. Plot has a good twist. It's engaging and interesting. Great actors and dialogue between characters. Overall a lovely piece of escapism.

Where do I even start? This show was terrible. Completely terrible. Half of it from the original show. Not even half. The original wings club wasn't even in the Winx saga like where is tecna it was said that Tecan Powers was too unrealistic, but then you got some demon fighting monsters what the heck flora isn't even in the first season like huh? All the characters are white wash and yes I also mean Ayesha why is she acting like the stereotype for the black girl in the friendship? Why is she literally the comforting friend? Shouldn't she also be doing with her own stuff and also why is muse white, in the original show she's Chinese and then Netflix you wanna talk about some diversity when you're literally race swapping historical figures like are you guys OK? Is your company OK? Why is Della the red friend not all blonde characters of the based off Regina George half of the characters in the show wasn't there which I understand because you know it was a cartoon show where you can add characters left and right, but this is with the real people so you're on a budget but come on is it so hard to add Techna? Was it so hard to add Flora in the first episode and who even is Tara you just pulled that character out of thin air and just said Yep She'll work fine like again white washing why is riven the stoner like come on I get it he's a bad boy, but that doesn't make him a stoner and then what happened to the witches like you guys added the fairies you guys added the specialers but y'all couldn't just add witches like what happened to Icy what happened to Darcy? what happened to Trixie, stormy? Like y'all seriously couldn't add Daphne it's balloons, older sister y'all just added some random parents and said Yep – and I get y'all are on a budget, but you guys seriously couldn't add wings I mean like it's in the name Winx club it's in the name fairies like do y'all know what fairies look like if Flora was in the show where is Helia like isn't that Floral lover or are y'all going to give that to Tara? Because apparently she needs a life in the show like y'all really took this fun loving show and decimated it like you guys took this man's show and gave it to the most moodiest writer. This man literally made vampire diaries like y'all will get this lighthearted, fun colorful show to the man who makes the most gloomiest show. 🤢🤮🫶🏾

This show was amazing. I went online to find out when season 3 would be released but apparently Netflix has cancelled it! Why? I don't want reality tv or crime shows.. that's what Netflix is turning into. This is my vote for Season 3..4..5… allow people to escape into this fantasy world.

You tend to forget your even watching something about fairies, on top of that they are all extremely rude to each other. And they are missing some of the most iconic characters, at this point i think its just another teen drama that they just slapped the name winx on.😕😒

Veredic: Not perfect but good. Give it a go. Fate: The Winx Saga has a harry potter vibe, full of fantasy that can awake that inner child that live in you. The acting is ok, but the story and effects are very good make up for it. The show have a lot of teen drama, that can be a turn of for a lot of people, but if u can endure it, it ends up to be quite nice show. Sadly Netflix kill it after two seasons. it would have been nice to see the end of the story that it was starting to be interesting.
