Denise T @Dee1925 Apr 29 Genuine crap. Bad script, bad acting, bad "plot" (and believe me the plot is definitely parenthetical). Harlan Coben is the ultimate harbinger of very very bad television. And he's not just the writer, he's the producer. What a shite this show was. See more Rik O @Rikoshae Jan 20 This has been an ok watch, but it's very convoluted and far fetched. The main protagonist, played by Michelle Keagan, struts up to complete strangers and very abruptly asks them for information. With almost no resistance at all they start telling her their life story. She's extremely keen to solve this on her own, for no discernable reason. She could, at any point, involve the police and make her life significantly easier, but instead she perseveres. Occasionally she receives urgent phone calls from key characters with critical information, but she doesn't call them back or visit them. Instead she has her breakfast and goes somewhere else. New characters are added almost every show and the amount of information existing characters have shifts on a whim. Coincidences galore as they know or recognise a key piece of information for inexplicable reasons. We want to know how it ends, but the plot feels like it's going in about fifty different directions and it's a bit draining. It balances action and storytelling. It kept me engaged throughout, because I couldn't tell what would happen next - a start contrast to most shows.
