Most of the previous sixth-season Frasier episodes have dealt with the financial woes of Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer), who lost his radio call-in show when station KACL decided to adopt a "salsa" format. As it turns out, Frasier is not the only Crane who will be tightening his belt in the future. Depressed over his impending divorce from wife Maris, Frasier's brother Niles (David Hyde Pierce) has been hit with the double whammy of court costs and alimony -- and now it is his turn to cut down costs by temporarily moving in with Frasier.
