Janitor Josh Futturman leads a pretty boring life, spending much of his time playing video games when he's not working. Things change, though, when he beats a video game that the rest of the world has given up on, thinking it was unbeatable. After he defeats the game, mysterious visitors from the future appear. They put the world in danger, and Josh is the only person who can save it. He assembles a team to assist him as he travels through time, completing various missions as he does whatever he can to try to save Earth from the extraterrestrial visitors.

Future Man finds a decent denouement to close out its triptych of seasons, and those who enjoyed past installments won't be let down by this one. If only all that traveling through space and time could have found a more richly developed series. Go to Full Review

Features time-travelling action and gamer gags, clever pop-culture references and enough laughs and silly storylines to easily fill its three-season run. Go to Full Review

Future Man has been a weird and wild ride from the start, and even though the third season wasn't its best, it ended the series perfectly. Go to Full Review

Regal R 12/04/2024 40/100 - shows like this are a staggering disappointment. putting aside the cheesy storyline, the writers missed out on so many opportunities with the whole time travel aspect. some of the dialogue is AMAZING. Great quips, character wit, and eclectic references. But I really dont get the digs on one religion and political party. Its pretty gross when the writers are scared to be unbiased so they pick the lowest hanging fruit; lazy. Aside from the plot being total garbage with random scenes jammed together in no apparent order, the ending is lackluster at best. See more Tom B 10/28/2024 Practically unwatchable. It has seth rogan and Osama bin laden 2 of the least funny people in history See more Matthew W 03/19/2023 Really great follow-up to season 2, and a very good final season See more Ben H 03/13/2023 A step-up from season 2. Season 3 is short and sweet and it also reminds me of season one. It is quirky, funny, and a fitting end to the story. See more slyc3 12/30/2022 in the end it was decent. there was a ton of missed opportunities and especially with the ending being kinda mediocre. See more T R 11/03/2022 Disney's lil quip intro was bland but Josh Hutcherson is in it so I said, "I'll watch the first episode and go from there… that's fair enough" It looked bad and overly done with stereotypical scenes such as dropping a stuffy, queue stepping on said stuffy for "dramatic effect" and an extremely awkward take of the evil(?) squad of whatevers just standing there while they were supposed to be hunting the kids down… (it only served to kill the tension more than than anything else) an over portrayal of an attempted grab at said kids and a pistol charge that would probably have rivalled Goku if the one charging up hadn't been shot (I could have shot them myself 20 times over by then) followed up by a one-liner from Josh that was so bad I found myself repeatedly saying, "No no no no no" before I quit watching right then and there… "Hole in one" like that of my one half star review. It doesn't even get the "it's for kids" excuse as it clearly states it is rated "TV-MA" See more Read all reviews
