Brett M @Brett42 Jan 19 I had high hopes for season 19. However, I am really not sure it can be called Grey's Anatomy anymore since it no longer has a Grey. Meredith exits the show a few episodes in and is largely absent for most of the season. Unfortunately, season 19 seems more like a political show than a medical show. The antiabortion laws are heavily featured throughout the season. If you are prolife, you probably will not like this season. If you are open-minded, the season is alright. I was happy to see that the show started to go back to its roots with some cool medical cases and interesting research. There is a xenograft, toothpick-induced intestinal pain, cool vascular cases, and meningitis. Other than that, it is trauma, trauma, trauma. I remember very few of the cases because it is so redundant. I did enjoy the storyline with Hunt and Teddy. I do not like how Maggie changed and was portrayed. I think they want us to dislike her, so we don't miss her. Overall, better than the previous season.
