At the center is their charismatic and beautiful leader Ishi, played to perfection by Juhi Chawla, a power broker in the world of the rich. We have heard plenty about the perversions and corruption of the elites, and this series delves into a very dark reality of abusing innocents. The powerful control the lives of others like puppeteers, but they cannot cancel or postpone death itself. As our brave ladies seek to unravel the threads of evil they realize it is just the beginning of a very dark road. The series sets up brilliantly for a second season which I really hope they make.
