At just six episodes, this is a small-scale Marvel venture, leaning towards an adolescent audience, that’s not tied to previous stories but does possess a fair measure of galvanising energy. Go to Full Review

Ironheart fares better with the human element of the story. Though perhaps human isn’t the right word, given that the series’ most rewarding scenes revolve around Riri’s slightly uncanny friendship with Natalie... Go to Full Review

A likeable series with a cracking lead. It may not rock your world, but you also won’t regret time spent in Riri Williams’ company. Go to Full Review

Ironheart overall feels a little bit underwhelming. Putting everything together, I enjoyed the buildup, the lead, and I loved exploring more of Riri's character, But towards the end the narrative structure fell short and failed to grab me. Go to Full Review

Ironheart has some interesting ideas and themes, and a killer soundtrack, but in the end, it’s another mediocre Marvel. Go to Full Review

Giga C @Gigachad123 6d I will be shocked if marvel gets more disapointing than this , Disrespecting Tony stark ... Like really ? See more Jason S @Axolus Jun 6 One of the best Marvel Series imo, no idea why the audience score is so low, I suffered from withdrawal symptoms after the finale. The show is smart, funny, knows when to take itself seriously and when not, speaks to an adolescent and adult audience, and everyone's acting is on point. I really hope we'll get a second season at some point, cause the ending gave me goosebumps and left me longing for more! See more Juan H. @RT01130196 May 30 Riri Williams is completely unlikable. She is smug, entitled, and lacks any humility. Her dismissing Tony Stark as just a "billionaire" proves the writers do not understand the MCU legacy. Stark built his first suit in a cave with scraps. Riri just acts like she is above everyone else while making terrible choices. It is impossible to root for her. See more Smart W @RT62339426 May 22 So i want to just say even you ignore the fact that he say will Tony stark be iron man if he wasn't a billionaire.but still the plot is very weak the entire plot is just i will be iron man if I were iron man and plot just don't make sense.I think marvel must be drunk to create this look dude Iron man that same movie that saved you from getting bankrupt and you just now disrespect him I don't recommend it don't even watch it plot sucks See more Sandra M @Sanmax May 15 It is such a shame the racsim and misogyny cause such a terrible backlash to this show. Understandably, I am a fan of Marvel, but this TV show was very fun and had an interesting plotline. It is one of those shows where you do not need to know every single thing in the Marvel universe. You can just enjoy the magic of the show. The cast had great chemistry and delivered their roles very well. See more Travis J @DraconisRedd May 11 I wanted to watch this when I first heard about it, but I wasn’t a Disney+ subscriber when it came out and the reviews helped me save my money. I finally got around to watching it and I’m left wondering what the point was. I feel like Marvel did a disservice to the Black community by once again shoehorning characters of color into stereotypes that neither move the needle or portray realistic people. Sure, everyone makes bad choices and sometimes those choices can snowball, but you typically learn your lesson and start to make changes for the better. Not these characters. I could not believe the last ten minutes and where the showrunners and writers decided to end things. What a letdown. Sure, I was entertained for most of the episodes, but there are no characters in this show that I would find interesting enough to follow to other projects and that is down to the writing. The acting was okay with some notable low points that ruined the vibe. Just skip this and watch Winter Soldier. See more Read all reviews
