Baker stories are fun, the actual competition suffers from too much scripted cheering, but by now you’re off to the fridge or the local patisserie to stuff your face.

Yeah this is more of a comfort show rather than anything great. The criticisms of the scripted elements is definitely valid, I’ll admit I’m a fan of Mikey Day, and a lot of the cakes look great.

I immediately stopped at episode 7 when the 2 ladies lost. The house thing thing maybe by Jujar was obviously a cake (badly done that even I can spot immediately). And how that the judge (lousy magician) didn't choose the majority vote for the pericope thing (although his 2 lady co-judges decided otherwise). Terrible judging.
