Judy Berman TIME Magazine 10/01/2024
Beyond that glossy exterior, though, the series brings enough depth to its characters and enough insight to its depiction of the contemporary fashion landscape to satisfy Succession heads and style nerds alike... Go to Full Review

Think a lesser Succession but with better stitching. If nothing else it’s a welcome antidote to Emily in Paris. These characters can actually afford those Eiffel Tower views. Go to Full Review

4/5
It is heavy on le fromage and light on subtlety. Yet, despite its daft plot twists and self-important mood, it turns out to be very good mindless TV, as elegantly trashy as it is irresistibly moreish. Go to Full Review

6/10
Sleek yet slow-paced French series that offers behind-the-curtain insight into the unstable economics of the highest echelon of fashion which - for years - has been supported perfume and purses. Go to Full Review
James Delingpole The Spectator 10/10/2024
What lets it down is that it appears to have no real love for or understanding of its subject matter. This is a fashion series made by people who hate fashion. Go to Full Review

La Maison is tense, topical, and unique. Go to Full Review

Maria R @mariaradeo May 31 Just incredible how the fashion family houses are shown, the Parisian luxury atmostphere, drama, inspiration, mode! Everything is just perfect, even if I was hesitating after the 1st episode. I’d love to have the season 2 so much!!! See more Chitacosmico 7 @RT05956076 Jul 8 Delightful, posh and intriguing this soap-fashion drama series make us dive into the prestigious world of high fashion, with multiple plots and twists, an amazing cast and beautiful photography the show is not just entertaining is Haute Couture with an ecological and social consciousness! See more bill n @RT49348156 04/23/2025 If you enjoy series like Billions and Succession, this is similar business and family dynamics between members of the family over their roles. It also adds a strong Rival in the Haute Couture fashion business. Lots of fun. See more laurent b @LaurentBotti 04/07/2025 The show is disapointing: the story doesn't make any sense, the characters have non believable motivations for their actions, the actuation borders caricature... It's just pleasant to watch for the lavish elegant french life style, but it's as little faithful to the fashion business as is Emily in Paris. See more Connie L @RT10589228 11/11/2024 Several performances are great. I think I'm watching for the sets and the clothes. I love the actress who is from The Bureau, but as Caroline she doesn't get to show her natural charisma. Lambert Wilson is beautiful to watch. As is Amira Casa. I found the young lead and her friend impossible. She always seems to be sweating, and her buddy seems to pout a lot. I'm glad they finally decided on the color of the buddy's eyebrows. But the writing...ugh. Every episode seems the same. Florence Loiret-Caille is the actress I love, but she doesn't have much to work with here. Antoine Reinartz is also fun to watch and please bring back his lover, played by Corentin Fila. They were one of the best parts of the show. The little Rovel granddaughter is charming. See more Gaby G @RT53076956 10/14/2024 Plot requires your attention as all over the place with different characters plot twists but the decor and fashion is a must to enjoy! See more Read all reviews
