Any viewer's enjoyment of a ghost-hunting series depends on their own beliefs when it comes to the supernatural, but this particular series offers more dimension and warmth than similar fare. Go to Full Review

While the show feels scripted and too easily pieced together, it is very entertaining, campy, and heartwarming. Not only do they help people in these haunted locations, but they rely on each other and share their raw experiences as queer ghost hunters. Go to Full Review

Like Queer Eye, Living For The Dead wants to bring a positive and celebratory vibe to the proceedings. It just happens that these proceedings happen in the middle of the night with ghosts and spirits. Go to Full Review

'Queer Eye' meets the spiritual world in this delightful, even if obviously scripted, ghost-hunting reality show for the gays, the goths, and everything in between. Go to Full Review

Jenn C @RT82094639 08/13/2024 The best ghost hunting/paranormal investigation show I've ever seen. Truly phenomenal. See more Tobi P @RT75561438 07/06/2024 Living for the Dead is a refreshing change in the paranormal genre of reality tv. Each episode is about the people and the places, instead of dudes running around like they're in a Halloween corn maze. There's a bit more psychic medium than some of the other shows, in that they aren't just a random guests brought in but a member of the team. They still separate the members so there's not influence over one another. There's a variety of interests or investigation techniques, so you're not just relying on a one note of ICT bells and whistles to scream ghosts at you. They don't tell you what you should hear ahead of time either, which is a pet peeve of a lot of the shows. Anyone that is actually in paranormal will tell you not to tell them what you think you heard or saw & to let them decide for themselves. They also involved solutions to the issue instead of telling folx that they're haunted and leaving with their evidence. I really hope we get another season, as right now there's a derth of shows, seems the dudes screaming with expensive equipment is the only one left, & it's turned it a sad caricature of themselves. Living for the Dead brings us back to the beginning of paranormal tv , when it was about the lives on both sides of the story, those that have gone & those left behind, the human story, not the jump scare fiction, made up evidence that paranormal TV has become. See more Jade T @RT91896725 06/30/2024 I’ve been watching ghost hunting shows since the early years of MTV Fear and perhaps I’m quite biased because I also identify as queer, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first season and I can’t wait for hopefully more seasons. I loved that each person in the group was able to create a comfort with each location they’ve visited. My personal thought with queer ghost hunters is that they’re more open to vulnerability and them knowing how to me empathetic and show patience really resonated with the people surrounding. This show should’ve been included in the Hulu Pride Collection, but maybe it is! I could be wrong, but more people should just try it out and start binge watching this just like I did! To some it may come across as cheesy, but I find it cutesy cheesy! It’s nice to watch a show where the ghost hunters are not too intrusive with their locations and have shown respect to the spirits rather than joke about them. Additionally, I really appreciate them for overcoming some of their fears and pursuing on with the mission. LASTLY, Kristen Stewart as the narrator?! The queers really know how to gather the audience. See more Solenne H @RT92229834 02/25/2024 This was a great series I enjoy watching I hope there’s a season two… See more Sam @RT32229548 11/25/2023 This show is so beautiful, not only in aesthetic but in the stories they portray. I love that they brought a Queer Eye aspect to ghost hunting, since most ghost hunting shows are too aggressive and don't focus on the actual spirits or the people being investigated. This show is so heartwarming and wholesome and it makes me as a viewer feel good. Also, all the ghost hunters are gorgeous and fascinating people and are super talented themselves. It's just a good show. See more Crissy M @RT04797204 11/08/2023 The show was funny, sweet, refreshing, spooky, and the camaraderie in the cast really spoke to me.
