The Robinson family was supposed to set off on a five-year mission to explore a distant planet, but an act of sabotage by the scheming Dr. Zachary Smith -- who managed to get himself trapped aboard the spaceship -- leaves them adrift in space for three years. The Robinsons, pilot Don West, Dr. Smith and their trusty robot move from planet to planet, always searching for a way to return to Earth.

So maybe 1997 didn't look exactly way Lost In Space predicted back in 1965, but don't let that take away from your enjoyment of the show. Go to Full Review

Though the original show was, at times, pretty campy, it had a kind of innocence and hopefulness about space and space travel that was still possible in the early 60s, when humanity was just touching the edge of space. Go to Full Review

It's a bit slower than more contemporary science fiction series, and the special effects are a pretty hokey compared to today's sophisticated computer graphics. But the stories are entertaining, and appeal to viewers of all ages. Go to Full Review

Anthony M. @Tony7777777 11/05/2023 Best way to say it the show has heart if you like to show that's great if you don't that's up to you I loved it as a kid and I Endure it as an adult from the music by The Young Johnny Williams now John Williams from Star Wars and Star Trek Raiders of the Lost Ark Harry Potter you name it Lost in Space was one of his first pieces he also did scores for Gilligan's Island as well too but from Dr Smith played by the multi-talented actor Jonathan Harris and the rest of the cast a great show to take your mind off the reality of life See more steve d @RT35616104 07/26/2020 The one season that took itself seriously and probably the best.
