The coach being negative to the student because "jocks" the "team doesn't want you changing with them anymore so use solo room" This is sad because all this stuff this boys going through is what people in real life deal with. Also follows a girl who lies about her age to college guy which is what happens in real life. This is scary because this happens in real life. This tackles real life issues with parents, students, and life. This show is based off Love, Simon and Josh Duhamel appears in season 2 the dad of Simon. Michael Cimino is charismatic and has great chemistry with the rest of the cast, who, by the way, are also very good. A family-friendly teen comedy drama inspired by and set in the same world as the 2018 film Love, Simon, that follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School, on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city, and struggling with his sexual orientation. It is a realistic depiction of what many teenagers have to go through in high school regarding their sexual orientation in today's society, but it is filled with the usual teen tropes and storylines that always end as one would expect them to. But it is a very heartwarming and groundbreaking show with a satisfying first season, and the special appearances of Simon and Bram are very welcome. Some of the acting is cringy, though. Love, Victor not only had all the charm of its predecessor, it also was clearly it own thing.
