Series 2 loses the plot through a strategic production error. They swapped the emphasis and now the weekly murder has become a side show. Big mistake. It was David Mitchell’s character bringing order from seeming chaos that made it work. That said, the cast and acting are first rate. They are believable while at the same time all eccentric to various degrees. Nothing that cannot be fixed by a refocus before series 3. I will be giving it one more chance.
