Judge’s wit seems to have sharpened and matured. Go to Full Review

Even with a few tweaks, “Beavis and Butt-Head” can still serve as comedy comfort food — assuming you take comfort in abject stupidity laced with offhand satire. Go to Full Review

The result is as funny and proudly stupid as ever, with creator Mike Judge bringing a little more awkward laughter (Heh heh) into the modern world. Go to Full Review

It's tricky and usually unnecessary to reboot something this iconic, but this series shines. Go to Full Review

No one will ever confuse Beavis and Butt-Head with Plato and Aristotle, but these numbskulls take the world around us and say the things that we are all too filtered to say for ourselves. Plus, anything remotely shaped like a penis is always hilarious. Go to Full Review

Samuel R 12/31/2024 Pure. Comedy. See more Poems P 11/11/2023 Beavis' & Butt-Head's nigh on 30 years hiatus has done nothing to stifle their stupidity nor chafe the charm of this daft duo. With the monumental societal changes that have occurred since the 90s, maybe B&B's return is more relevant in our apathetic era than we would care to admit and, maybe, MTV's original prescient offering, ahead of its time. With its perfect blend of 'just as good as it ever was' and several improvements (e.g. less 90s rock video voiceover commentaries and more violence), the new Beavis and Butt-Head series fits in seemlessly for today's viewing habits, proving that these two halfwits are timeless gems. The idea is simple, the dialogue is minimal, the plots are near enough non-existent and the character development is unnecessary , with no other characters ever written significantly enough into an episode for you to ever face the dilemma of having to chose THEM over our (ahem) heroes...and they are simply too dumb for the viewer to ever blame them or to turn against them (they simply do not know they even have shortcomings let alone are able to do anything about them). Somebody somewhere up there is keeping them safe (enough) and sound juuussst enough for them to continue gracing our screens...and long may it remain so. Just be thankful that the village(who is missing its idiots)'s loss is our(viewers)' gain See more Allan R 10/21/2023 These are the best. I only wish they were a bit longer. See more Kim T @Kimchi871 10/19/2023 Beavis and butthead are still as dirty as ever. See more Andrew K 09/11/2023 This is actually better than the original. When the original show debuted, its main lure was just that it was a vulgar cartoon for teenagers. That had never really been done before. Cartoons had always been aimed at young children and this was 4 years before South Park. Understanding that the main audience for this revival is likely the original audience, who are now adults, the writing on this show is much better and actually effective satire. They also cover a lot more ground and have a lot more things to explore. They show the teenage Beavis & Butt-head we know, but with (again) better and more effective writing. Then we also get to see Beavis and Butt-head at the age they should be by now (mid to late 40s), and even an alternate (supposedly smart) version of them that essentially look like aliens. The show is just a lot more well done and interesting. See more Sam F 04/08/2023 They are better than ever! See more Read all reviews
