It’s more than a little underwhelming to have an episode teeing up a future plot development that’s ultimately not that interesting, especially when the human drama around it isn’t the best Monarch can do.

I wish this was two separate seasons. I really do. Because now, instead of one fantastic Godzilla show and one middling to decent one, we have a series that comes to life only long enough to frustrate the audience.

i found it nearly impossible to pay attention to this. the brief moments when we see some kaiju action are bad green screened in stuff and there's too much focus on uninteresting human drama. the cast is pretty solid, but every apple original has something wrong with it.

Too slow and drawn out. Though it did get better towards the end. Still worth watching. Put it on as background while doing something else. When the action starts, rewind and watch that part.

I thought Godzilla this will be really dumb, and it turned out to be really interesting/enjoyable. Kind of like a science oriented Stranger Things. Well worth the ride!
