01/08/2021 I'll admit to being rather confused with this missing person thriller as it veers off into elements of family history with religious overtones to explain a series of strange events that occur in a remote community in northern Norway. The characters are intense, the plot bewildering at times, set in mostly bleak surroundings, apart from some spectacular forest scenes which really stood out, and the variable police methods all combine to bring an unusual offering which ultimately left me disappointed that a promising plot was not realised.
