But this newest season felt like a fictional horror story and I felt super appalled because I felt sorry to the real victims' families and they even turned one of the victims into a sick love story! I hope they never make another season again because this was SICK! See more Jake A @RT73457117 6d Charlie Hunnam’s worst performance, and yet he is an Emmy nominee regardless of the horrendous reviews of said performance and show overall? Ryan Murphy sure knows how to work the industry, because I cannot justify how this load of garbage even got 7 nominations. In what universe does that make sense? Every episode sucked, Hunnam’s voice was in and out of three different accents, the story made zero sense, boring as hell. The show felt more like an experiment than actual quality. The ratings from fans of this series and the critical rating don’t lie. This was awful and the Emmys rewarded it simply because it’s Ryan Murphy. Like this season is bad, bad. This is the start of Hunnam’s career downfall. No question. He should have waited for the right role. This wasn’t it. But again, he’s made so many mistakes in the past with choices, why would this one surprise anyone really? I simply can’t imagine this is the hill he dies on to be seen again on TV. Was he going broke before this? See more Ryann G @ryannolivia Jul 22 As someone who’s done a deep dive on Ed Gein’s life, this is highly fictionalized. I understand that they need to add details to add length to the series, but it would’ve been better off as a movie that used factual, proven information. Ed Gein was proven to have killed 2 people and grave robbed outside of that. He had very little affiliation with the character Adeline was based off of. And, he claimed he never indulged in sex with the bodies. I feel that they shouldn’t put all these things into a series just to add length, I think they need actual depth into what was proven to have happened. Outside of that, the cinematography and casting is magnificent. I was truly impressed by the quality of this series, even when the plot was fictional most of the time. Made me feel like I was not watching a story about Ed Gein. I was hoping for something similar to Jeffrey Dahmer, that was also propogandist but still good. This how ever was just a litle redicules.
