I honestly love watching Moonbeam city, the looks and the feels of these 10 episodes just made the perfect serries that could have existed for longer but kept being pushed underground. But my love and mind doesnt get lost as i constantly think of this show. THIS is a one in a lifetime show to me. Unforgetable to me ever.

This show was so freaking hilarious that we still quote episode plots to each other all these years later. The pro critics totally dropped the ball on this one.

Visually a delightful 80s nostalgia trip filled with neons, pastels and sharp animation, frequently supported by a great soundtrack, but the narrative material feels recycled and slightly too over the top, which is why none of the jokes are actually very funny...

Yeah, yeah... i read THose rewievs, that dumb humor and coincidence with archer. i don't understand one - that's realy strong arguments for hating this series? i thing no. when i see moonbeam city, after long day of work, i can relax in this atmosphere of neon and 80's and laugh for, maybe, not intellectual, but funny jokes. And i realy delight this retrowave stile! that's unique! unique series! Peoples, what are you doing? that perfect!

If I could give this show 1000 stars I would. It just wasn't directed toward the right audience. Stellar cast, hilarious writing, interesting plot lines. Is it ridiculous? yes, Is it also the best thing ever? Yes. Perfectly captures that 80's/early 90's vibe. I hope the people that got it canceled get rectal cancer.

Funny, visually delicious and with a soundtrack to die for, Moonbeam CIty will become a lost cult classic in due time, much like many one-season shows that never got to take off for one reason or another. Filled with good story-lines, a great voice cast and the most dysfunctional police department around, Moonbeam City is full of quote-able lines that will continue to pop up in conversation between those who watched it. Unfortunately, the show's frequent association with "Archer" is rather misplaced- the way the story arcs play out (as well as the situations they are placed in) are completely different, although many simply get stuck on the visual aspect of the shows. Killed early before it had a chance to truly bloom, Moonbeam City will be remembered fondly.. in time. All the good ones die young.

    Amazing. Needs second season!!!

Rob Lowe and Will Forte do a great job portraying idiot detectives in this animated Nagel painting. While this ridiculous cartoon tribute to the 80s can often be filthy and predictable at times, not to mention high on the pointless death count, those qualities do little to sour how hilariously funny it is. Some people compare it unfavorably to Archer, but personally I liked Moonbeam City better than that show. I wish it had been renewed for a second season.
