It doesn't have the the wow factor the pilot episode had, but it continues to keep me on my toes, and intrigued about the world Rami Malek's Elliot and Christian Slater's Mr. Robot both inhabit.
The second episode feels very much of a piece with the first, and continues to demonstrate that Malek was long overdue for this kind of role.
In an otherwise strong episode, I was a bit disappointed by the Krista/Elliot scenes.
Mr. Robot didn't know it was getting a second season when this episode was filmed and cut, but it sure acted like it knew, opting to slow things down to really build on the severity of Elliot's situation and up the stakes.
This episode not only ends with a superb scene, it begins with one, too.
