Mr. Robot didn't know it was getting a second season when this episode was filmed and cut, but it sure acted like it knew, opting to slow things down to really build on the severity of Elliot's situation and up the stakes.

The second episode of Mr. Robot lost some of the steam and tension it built up in the pilot and had some uneven pacing, but overall, Elliot's world is still a fascinating place to explore.
