It helps that the crime in question is deeply compelling, with many possible leads and it's all kept grounded by the narrator, who is also the son of the victim. He documented all the aspects related with the death of his mother, all people (including family) involved and some old footage of his childhood. It has touching, revolting and warming moments. There is a lot of rewarding crafty work and courage behind this top-notch documentary. By itself, the documentary is already extremely pertinent and cleverly intriguing, but it deserves an extra-point for all the courage of making it so well and being in the most difficult position at the same time.
