It is sad to say but the show is just not funny. I was so excited due to me loving It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia but Mythic Quest is pretty boring. I am a gamer (WOW) and that was another reason I was excited for the show but The Guild from 2007 just surpasses Mythic Quest. Poppy character is horrible. The Only time I thought she was awesome was in The Quarantine episode. But she is very dislikable. Maybe they wrote her that way and if they did that was not a good call. The jokes in the show are so bad that it's rare when I actually laugh or even smirk. This show is def a hard pass.

Era isso que eu estava precisando, uma série sobre vídeo games, uma ideia brilhante que traz episódios engraçados, e dando uma renovada nas Sitcoms que estavam meio adormecidas pelo fim de Brooklyn 9-9, e que até hoje não achei uma tão boa como essa, não querendo ser só mais uma entre a maioria que lutam pelo seu espaço a cada temporada, Mythic Quest traz a Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao) muito engraçada e sendo um humor simplesmente natural, sem muita enrolação vemos uma comédia simples que volta com tudo, isso em companhia de Ian Grimm (Rob McElhenney) uma figura do cara que não sabe o que está fazendo direito, trazendo boas revelações que só são mostradas no final, como esquecer também o Tênis Cagado (Elisha Henig) sempre dando sua avaliação para os melhores e piores jogos. O que percebi também foi o dia a dia dos lugares especializados em criação de jogos e manutenção dos próprios, incluindo profissionais como streamers, jogadores, programador, roteirista exclusivo, e isso com a presença do ator de Scarface 'F. Murray Abraham' no papel de C.W. Longbottom, um humor desligado mas que traz prestígio pois ganhou na série o prêmio Nebula que existe de verdade, então há um elenco de pessoas talentosas vindo de uma ideia que além de expressar humor atual, mostra o que acontece em uma empresa de desenvolvimento de jogos para quem não sabe. Um episódio intrigante: em 'A Dark Quiet Death' serve como uma playlist aleatória, só que resultou em um drama, comédia que visou dar o início desse jogo 'Raven's Banquet', claro passando nos anos 90 uma época que o legado de videogames estava se desenvolvendo, mesmo que tenham sido criados em 1966-68, só que é uma história relacionada a série, não ficando muito presa só a comédia de sitcoms, e sim colocando um conceito que foi entendido logo depois, este modo de clima de drama entre os dois personagens que não tem nomes, acredite se quiser só que é um casal apaixonante que começaram com uma ideia que amos depois virou a Mythic Quest e conseguimos ver a evolução dos jogos, e me remeto a tempos que eram assim mesmo a estética meio crua, uma dimensão muito iniciante que era o seu próprio charme, então foi meu episódio favorito e até penso que a série poderia explorar essa história um pouco mais.

While the office workplace comedy is a flooded marketplace, this show works due to the interactions of it's diverse characters and clever writing. A series that gets better the further you watch it, hitting it's peak with a brilliant episode on the Covid lockdown.
