Shirley U @RT31505937 Mar 22 I happened across this show New Blood only today March 2026. I was looking forward to another season. Sadly after doing a "Google" search I found out it aired in 2016 with no second season or more for that fact. It’s too bad. It was extremely enjoyable and entertaining. The two main characters had great chemistry and kind of reminded me of a diluted Mel Gibson & Danny Glover Lethal Weapon type vibe. They (THE BBC) should seriously reconsider bringing this one back!! I love the chemistry between Raj and Stefan and I found their investigation tactics totally entertaining & refreshing. I think they make a great team and I wish there was another season! I still have a few to go but the first 3 wrapped up the first case the two young men solved & it was really good. Good actors, good chemistry between the two of them. Smart, funny, modern and fun. I am in the USA and I love British detective shows. I have pretty much watched all the best ones and I just don't understand why the BBC would cancel this show?( I already checked it out ahead of finishing, only to find there was only one season and it was canceled) In America , I am pretty darn sure this show would have gotten a Season 2. Why is it that I have noticed the BBC seems to give up on good shows after a Season or 2 ? Bring these two talented young actors and their show to an American Network . Audiences would love it!
