Critic Reviews for Nightcap Season 1

A shaggy, amiable trifle in which character is sometimes subservient to quips, it has the feel of improv sketch comedy on a night when the "A" cast is on.

Nightcap is surprisingly quick and sharp, with a strong sense of comedic timing and the layered humor of a sitcom episode.

Audience Reviews for Nightcap: Season 1

I was only interested in the show because it could easily be good and pretty funny with the premise they have. They could bring on great celebrity guests and make them hilarious! I saw some potential in the pilot because of some jokes that seemed TV-MA. But the rest of the season was a let down, wasting the a-list celebrities they brought on, and not pushing the boundaries of what says TV-PG and may sometimes be TV-14. I watched till episode 9 because I wanted to see Paul Rudd, now I'm going to watch the last episode because why not, I'm already this far. Maybe the most undemanding viewers could enjoy and maybe even find it funny, because it's not poorly made and features famous celebs, and the cast seems to be trying to perform their best.
