Authentic ,compassionate ,great filming and loved the interviews with local people See more D3Z 1 @RT51637195 Apr 15 No Taste Like Home almost feels like a combination of Who Do You Think You Are which mixes celebrities finding out more about their historical heritage along with cultural cuisines in which makes the show a rather interesting concept. Antoni Porowski is a great host who shows a genuine interest in his presentation of cultural discoveries, while touring countries with the celebrities. It’s like a combination of Finding Your Roots, but with food. I hope they expand the series. The Awkwafina episode should have been the first one though, it was much better than the Florence Pugh one. The latter was way too convoluted, digging through the family tree for some kind of food-related a-ha moment, which appeared overly forced. Antoni is fine, but sometimes over-the-top with his staged reactions. But nice to see some food shows trying something new. Will keep watching.
