If Fogelman’s intent was to make the first two episodes of Season 2 feel like a different show, then he succeeded. It just happens to be a show that a lot of us have seen too many times before. Go to Full Review

Ross C @RT47619418 3h Very. Slow.. Boring .. just. back stories nothing to do with season. One See more James B @JimboAB 1d Season 1 was a masterpiece with depth in its characters and a compelling storyline. Season 2 worried me because of being outside the dome, which was so good. I was pleasantly surprised that this season has turned out to be just as compelling and emotional. A must see! See more Amanda C @Gi.Clever 2d After the way Season 1 ended I was hopeful they would get renewed with a budget for some new and awesome actors. I was not disappointed. Shalene Woodley (sp?) makes what could easily have be the most boring premier of all time and adds enough real emotion and believability to make it wonderful. Sterling K. Brown's intensity paired on screen with her vibrantly subtle charisma offered some of the most refreshing second season episodes of a Hulu series since Handmaid's Tale. See more Jeffrey @Parshivye_blinchiki 2d I loved the first season, but the second one was unbearable. A lot of boring, drawn out segments with the girl from the elvis museum, and the black guynwho was the secret service guy in the first season turned into a real jerk. Actually he has been pretty selfish the whole show. On the day of the disaster he was glued to his phone instead of doing his job, and then he told the president he wished he were dead. In the second season he was kind to a bunch of kids who stole his stuff and asked him if they can have his backpack when he dies, but he was extremely rude to the mailman who helped his wife survive for three years and was always going out of his way to accuse him of one thing or another or remind him how he didn't trust him. I know that the writers put in a plot twist so the mailman later turned out to be a bad guy, but it doesn't alter the fact that the black guy was only skeptical of him and was immdiately trusting of everyone else when he didn't know any of them. See more Manley F. @M5_Reviews 2d This show has the potential to be one of the best ever. Sterling K. Brown and the entire cast were exceptional. Fogelman I can't thank you enough for bringing this story to life especially with the incredible actors cast for their roles. Season One hands down the best show of 2025 and Season 2 is holding that same energy as the first which is incredibly hard to do. See more Rich L. @Richard810 2d I love sterling k brown See more Read all reviews
