I almost had a heart attack when I thought this show might have been cancelled. I am thrilled at how Season 5 has panned out. I love that Joel's character is being developed more, and Mae Whitman is just shining as a true dramatic actress! This family reminds me of my own, and I love all of the stories interwoven with its ups and down.
