34m agoAt first, I was worried that all the episodes would be like the first, where since people know about her ability, lying becomes impossible. I was also worried that knowing whether someone was lying would make the mystery easy to solve, but I was glad that her part focused on finding the motive, which we as the audience also didn't know. And one small complaint though is that some of the ways she solves the case should have been obvious to even the stupidest law enforcement agent (eg. ep. 5 heart rate monitor revelation). I was also shocked that our main Detective didn't learn not to put her life in danger and to save the "aha" monologue for after or when the villain is safely behind bars.

49m agoThis best crime show I saw in 30 years… This is the new Columbo! Crime happens then , for some reason, she is there all along!! Wow… really wow! Keep this show for at least 10 seasons pls, cannot get enough of this new superstar!

1h agoThe show starts or with a premise that our hero can see through lies. The first half of the first episode I was getting frustrated with her. And then? Boom! I'm hooked. Natasha is delightful and I enjoy this show thoroughly. With so much junk out these days, this is a delightful piece of candy in a mix of gross junk.

12h agoBrilliant! Natasha Lyonne gets better ans better!
-
12h agoFirst episode promises a lot, great cast and all the grime of the cheap end of vegas. Subsequent episode kind of slip in standard a little as it gets a bit repetitive. The whodunnit premise gets a bit old when the main character can tell when people are lying. I think the rave critic reviews are really based on a great pilot/ep 1. Post that it kind of meanders into an ok series. One im enjoying watching but dont think its really binge worthy.

17h agoReally don't like those underground heroes Kind of slow pace

19h agoShe is just fab. Very talented star cast.

21h agoI love this show! Yes, the premise may be mildly hokey (or maybe I'm a cynic). Nevertheless, Natasha Lyonne is fabulous as a wise-cracking amateur sleuth. The supporting cast is wonderful, the dialog is witty and at times downright hilarious. I can't wait for the next five episodes.

21h agoActing 3.5/5 Idea 5/5 Execution 1/5 Story line 2/5 Overall: 2.3/5 Heres the bottom line. The probability of someone encountering a murder at every stop in such a short period of time is 0. The show is repetitive, unrealistic in the worst ways and the underlying plot is bad. This would be better as a medium type show, with deeper character development & a longer timeline between episodes. The concept of someone always knowing when someone is lying is great. But it would be better as a show if she was a consultant for a Police department on murders that we're actually interesting. That gives the ability to use her ability to fight crime without the repetitive nature of stumbling across a murder every other day….which is the most unrealistic part.
