Queenie is succinct in its exploration of adulting, relationships and race. Layers on these themes didn’t always migrate over but there is charm in what was created for the tv show format. Go to Full Review

Queenie is a messy yet captivating watch. You'll root for her, even as her poor choices frustrate. The story touches on key themes, but doesn’t delve as deeply as they deserve. Strong performances still elevate it. Go to Full Review

Ambrosia P @Msparker Dec 28 I loved Queenie. It was very refreshing, relatable, funny and informative. As a black woman I could really relate to the family trama. I binge watched the whole season in one sitting. I cried real tears and I laughed out loud. I don't know why it took me so long to watch it but I'm glad I did and I can't wait for season 2 See more Dee E @RT86424287 06/15/2024 Excellent commentary on generational trauma, family, and relationships. See more Layla R @RT18696556 06/15/2024 I'm confused by the low audience score. this show was better than the book deep, heartfelt, and pulls on your heartstrings. definitely worth the watch See more Angela O @RT00327710 06/10/2024 Queenie is smart and subtly poignant with some standout performances to boot. See more Sabrina B @RT81781118 06/09/2024 I read the book when it came out and although I’m not familiar with British slang so some of it went over my head i enjoyed reading about Queenie finding her place. I thought the tv show followed the book well and I binged it all in a day. See more Read all reviews
