Brocklehurst effortlessly establishes several plots from the beginning, the production effortlessly directed by Rashed, who lets the storylines unfold with no extraneous fussiness. Go to Full Review

There are many good performances, but I was especially fond of Jones, whose no-nonsense shamus could support a show of her own, and Gledhill, as the only character allowed to display any sort of cheeriness. Go to Full Review

The show shortchanges its audience on the one quality essential to every great mystery. Logic. Go to Full Review

At least Nesbitt and Driver can be relied upon to keep you potentially engaged enough to want to see this through to the conclusion, regardless of just how wildly implausible it all threatens to get. Go to Full Review

Run Away gives me little to no good reason to care about these people and as such, I don't care about the mystery they've found themselves wrapped up in. Go to Full Review

Harlan Coben adaptations are about as reliable as it gets (outside of the BBC), and this is no exception. Run Away even attempts to shake up the formula by putting a handful of storylines in motion before slowly revealing how they all intertwine. Go to Full Review

Silvia M @SilviaMarques May 3 It seems like every show now needs to have plot twists, and this one goes out of its way to "surprise" the audience. It ends up forced and artificial instead of interesting. See more Sierra B @sbmbolin Apr 19 I enjoyed this series, and watched it through it's entirety. But I didn't really get the hype. It was good, but didn't glue me to the screen. Although, it was plot twist after plot twist. I couldn't predict where it was going most of the time. But I love that the ending left no unanswered questions. It all came together eventually. I hate how they ended Elena's storyline omg! See more RP R @RT79580689 Apr 4 Took me a few episodes to realize what was wrong, but I think it's that the POV character is the least compelling character. I love James Nesbitt in just about everything else, but here he's a rich stock broker with bad judgment and a worse temper. He'd be fine as a side character, but there's no reason you want to spend time with him. In contrast, it's just annoying that you get minimal time with the PI and her 'tech guy' Lou, or with the murdering teen couple - show would've been much more compelling if centered around either pair. Most impressive aspect might've been the de-aging scene they did for Nesbitt and Mini Driver - good to know that particular tech is improving. See more Jim S. @jagajak Mar 9 I think Netflix thinks anything from the UK must be great another stinker here... Yet they cancelled the Residence..a great show. Management at Netflix must be new or listening to AI. See more Viviane M. @Viv2025 Mar 3 Dumb dumb dumb! Every episode got worse, don’t waste your time. Incredibly disappointing.
