Surgeon Alex Reid finds herself in a state of shock when her charismatic fiance -- Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris -- ends up in a coma. While she and a surgeon who has just arrived at Toronto's Hope-Zion Hospital work to save Dr. Harris' life, the patient takes leave of his body and begins wandering the hospital in spirit form. Harris ponders the true nature of his experience, while the other doctors in the facility continue to deal with complicated decisions that they face daily within their profession.

03/30/2020 I generally enjoy the show. Not great, but decent. However, their depiction of Orthodox Jews, especially in Season 3, episode 14, was so entirely off base, it really upset me. From where are TV and movie writers getting their information? Not from Orthodox Jews, that's for sure. How can we change this problem? When tv portrays religious Jews as entirely closed minded and cruel, it creates anti semitism and hatred in a world that needs love, respect and acceptance. See more 11/16/2019 I got hooked watching this tv show until season 4, what happened?! Did they change directors, writers? I don't understand, I couldn't get pass the 4th episode of this season. Everything is different, the dynamic, the stories are all choppy and some of them don't make sense. There's no chemistry between characters, I'm really confused. The episodes are slow, extremely dramatic, some of the actors are pretty bad, some doctors come and go without explanation. I had to stop watching this show, I'm so disappointed.
