John K @WQCMI Nov 3 The fatal killing blow to the Skylanders franchise. All the episodes were boring, Patrick Warburton does return as Flynn but his design looks nothing like his character in the games and comes across as terrifying, once again Crash Bandicoot is here which is just done because his franchise was already resurrected one year prior in the worst way possible, and the twist ruined the entire series because it made everything completely pointless. Although, the series was advertised as a prequel when it was dropped in 2016, three seasons later in 2018, the twists made the whole series feel more like a reboot and it disappointed me because it felt like a cruel prank and felt like the writers had no idea what to do anymore. This was the moment where the writing was on the wall for the Skylanders franchise as by this point, Activision forgot it even existed, not even an iPhone game based on the franchise from 2018 could save it and when the game was pulled in 2022, that was it.
