Camilla Marrone is so beautiful but she is so extra and very over the top. cringey. and I wonder how many of these scenes were just unscripted – just let Nikki and Rachel riff while filming because it was like watching an acting class where the students are just allowed to addlib. I find it hard to believe thae Actually anyone put such bad dialogue on paper. Interesting that the critics reviews and the audience reviews are so completely desperate. From terrible dialog and a complete lack of chemistry, Camila Morrone once again proves she really can destroy a work just by standing there. Not that Adam DiMarco pulled any weight or provided any chemistry towards Haley Z. Boston's abomination of what feels like an AI script, further proving why teams of writers are necessary. With an abundance of plot holes, scenes that should have just been scrapped all together (looking at you, weird chest moment), and whole episodes of nothing but filler, Something Very Bad is the overhyped Netflix flop you can skip. There are many side elements and different situations added throughout the story, but none of them felt engaging or meaningful enough to keep me invested. The sound design and music also did not work for me. The atmosphere feels dark, creepy, and unsettling, almost like an old horror movie. I can see that the mood was intentionally created that way, and in some parts, the atmosphere was done well. However, I do not think the story should have been presented in this style. Overall, I did not enjoy it at all. It was not interesting, not exciting, and not fun for me in any episode. I found it very boring from beginning to end.
