"Start-Up" has a second male lead (Kim Seon-ho) who is so charismatic that his storyline often overshadows that of the very handsome lead (Nam Joo-hyuk). Ultimately, the K-Drama reinforces the idea that no matter how broken a family is, the ties remain. Go to Full Review

KRITI N @Kriti743 Feb 13 The ending of this drama is very traumatizing for me. I mean, was the writer under the influence while writing it? Ji-pyeong was right for Dal-mi because they loved each other for a long time, even though he sends letters to her under a different name. But why was Do-san given the lead? He was a cheater, even later he saw his own benefit. After all, why did the writer separate Dal-mi and Ji-pyeong? I feel very bad for Han Ji-pyeong. See more _Hello K @NoFilterReviews Dec 30 Start-Up presents an appealing premise centered on ambition, youth, and innovation, but ultimately fails to deliver an emotionally satisfying story. While visually polished, many narrative decisions — especially the main romance — felt weak and unconvincing.😕 The only reason this drama earns a 3-star rating is Han Ji-pyeong, portrayed by Kim Seon-ho.🫶😊 His performance was the strongest element of the series. ❤️ Ji-pyeong is a layered, restrained, and deeply human character whose quiet loneliness and moral integrity made him the true emotional core of the story. Kim Seon-ho brought depth and sincerity to every scene he appeared in.🥰 In contrast, the romantic pairing between the female lead and Nam Do-san lacked chemistry and emotional weight. Even more disappointing, the narrative consistently left Han Ji-pyeong isolated, without support or care, despite him deserving it most.☹️ Start-Up had potential, but failed to honor its most compelling character. See more Dipika D 12/25/2024 I support the character Do San because his love is true and innocent. Mr.Han character is so matured so storytelling is not just about sacrifice but to understand the vision and motto of one’s life. According to me , ending is superb , everyone finds what’s they want to do in life. See more Faizan C 12/30/2023 Han was done bad I'm not planning on watching any shows of Suzy and this nam guy his role is a disgrace See more Carlos T 03/16/2023 Minha opinião: Foi a 2ª vez que assito a este dorama o mesmo fiz assistindo Pousando no Amor e meus sentimentos e perepções até foram melhores que a 1ª vez. Vale apena assistir? Sim para quem curte de dorama assim. Nota: 1ª vez que assiti 9 nesta 2ª vez 6. See more Jason S 10/08/2022 Over the last few years, I've became addicted to Kdramas. However, this one is the only show that Ive watched to completion twice! I really love the main cast as well as the supporting cast. The show is funny, sad, exciting and as a great story about family and finding strength with each other. See more Read all reviews
