Unlike anything I have ever watched…movie or tv. Not sure I will ever see anything like it again. Read the book and appreciate the adaptation. Feels like LOST with a payoff.

pretentious effort to tell something about a deeper understanding of human importance turn into a high school student fashion exhibition. Do not waste your time with this shit show. Book sound defo interesting but there's so many holes in this script and storytelling it hurts me that I even spent any time with it.

The beginning of the first episode was enthralling. Then the show goes completely off the rails.

This series could have been so great. It is definitely not 95% critic great, well the first episode is. And then I remember damage (that line is half the screenplay) Sadly the choppy editing after the first episode distracted from the excellent cast performances. Minor scenes often dragged on and many key moments were cut short. Flashbacks and repetition of scenes are the real plague in this series. Also there's a soundtrack that sounds like Wes Anderson being stabbed by Jason. At times intriguing and charming and other times completely distracting and even annoying. Maybe it would have worked if it was a Wes Anderson film and not a discordant hybrid of Walking Dead and Hook. The series is good enough to make you want to know what happens. But if you care about coherent story telling and mood- you will probably be disappointed it doesn't live up to the promise of the beginning, in the end.

I have never been so obsessed with a tv show before. This captured the post pandemic world PERFECTLY. Finally the reality of what happens to us who live through a pandemic. And what the after looks like when society collapse. I am beyond impressed.

Station Eleven (TV 2021): Flu kills 99% of humans. Survivors carry on. Lots of cuts between times and places and characters' stories. There's Shakespeare and a graphic novel, adding metaphor and symbolism. It gets surreal at times. The humanity at heart makes this so good. A-

The perfect piece of television - in every way. I'm not even sure how they did it, but they truly managed to draw the strengths of theater, cinema, literature, and music and fit it all into one series. I will return to watch this over and over again.

This series was wayyyy too overated. I could have spend my time watching something else rather than this, where did HBO went wrong?

A show about hope and community amidst a global pandemic that sought to extinguish both.

This series took my breath away. I've watched it 3 times! Very out of the norm for me. At first one might be turned away by the post apocalyptic theme. It was written and filming started before the COVID Pandemic. It is very well written, heartfelt. Kudos to many fine actors who did such an amazing job. I laughed and I cried. I have read the book, and although there are core differences, the series doesn't dismiss Emily St. John Mandel's fine writing.
