A spin-off of "Kim's Convenience," "Strays" follows Shannon Ross as leaves Handy Car Rental in Toronto to focus on a new career in Hamilton as the executive director of an animal shelter. Shannon continues to be upbeat and a people-pleaser, despite the eclectic staff and many missteps. Her attempts to be friends with everyone can lead to awkward exchanges, but the entire crew has the best interests of the animals at heart. The cast also includes Frank Cox-O'Connell, Tina Jung, Nikki Duval, Kevin Vidal and Tony Nappo.

10/06/2021 Whole shows feels listless and lacks stories that make me care . What a shame because i loved the Shannon Powers character in Kim's convenience. We also need to feel the characters are a family to make us care. I just don't feel it. They need to also should have a character arc goal for Shannon to push the episodes forward but it all seems all over the place. See more Read all reviews
