Adapted from the New York Times bestselling novels by Robyn Carr, "Sullivan's Crossing" follows the journey of neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan, whose perfectly planned life is turned upside down after finding herself in unexpected legal troubles. Needing time to reflect, she temporarily leaves her life in Boston and takes refuge in her childhood home of Sullivan's Crossing, a campground in picturesque Nova Scotia that is run by her estranged father, Sully. There, she must deal with her complicated present while she also navigates her painful past. Further complicating matters is a mysterious newcomer whose presence ultimately leads Maggie to question her carefully laid plans.

Claudette S. @entertainME1 Jan 5 Having just been in the Canadian Maritimes I love the cinematography. Andrea Menard, Tom Jackson and Scott Patterson make the show. The other actors not so much. Maggie looks way too young to be an established neurosurgeon. Plus her and Cal do not have the needed chemistry. Forced acting on both their parts. A more mature acting pair would have worked better. All characters are encouraged to have casual sex, as if it is as common as a handshake. And Chad Michael Murray's hair is absolutely ridiculous. It is really a distraction for the show. See more Acacia M @RT89881858 Aug 27 I struggled a bit with the first couple of seasons but season 3 got SO MUCH BETTER! The storylines aren’t so brash anymore and everyone seems more settled into their roles. Glad they kept the cast they did and let go of the others that didn’t fit. The new cast members that have joined are lovely and have made the show much more enjoyable to watch. Can’t wait for the 4th season! See more cammie H @RT83381778 Aug 27 I love it! No it’s not perfect but I watched all 3 seasons in a week. I hope there is a season 4! See more Mary R @Molls Aug 19 The premise of this story is good but there are so many flaws that ruin it. The dialogue is just awful- in every episode I swear at least 3 characters say, “I can’t do this right now” dramatically walking away from a problem that is core to the story that week. And plot situations like a couple walking into an abandoned mine-hm, wonder what’s going to happen now? Duh, the mine collapses. I feel like I’m watching a soap opera. Then, the wooden-ness of some of the acting. Just cringey. But finally, the music! Can no one actually write a scene that tells the story rather than film a character sadly looking out at water while minutes of a loud, pointless song that does not connect with the storyline drags on? It’s like the music is another whole (bad) cast member. I love the location, I keep watching bc it’s better than watching the nightly news. But this show needs some help. See more KC J @RT65528919 Aug 15 Episodes were shot in very short snippets which ruined the illusion of telling a story. There was no depth to the story line. Sex scene between Cal & Maggie was totally unnecessary. All scenes seemed to be rushed which made them clumsy. Some scenes were very overdone. Example is the scene where Sully is showing the author to her cabin and the line of "campers" filing past them was ridiculous. Looked like a line in a Walmart. Watched 2 episodes and will try another tonight but may have to bid adios to the series. See more Read all reviews
