The true crime here is the waste of Duff’s talents: maybe it’s time to lock Suspect up and throw away the key. Go to Full Review

Scriptwriters Joy Wilkinson and David Allison have made parts of Suspect so melodramatic and shrill that there are moments when it feels like a Charlie Brooker-style satire on the genre. The loud, intrusive music also hinders rather than helps. Go to Full Review

The makers of Suspect must offer a very generous remuneration package, because how else to explain why good actors have agreed to appear in a show as terrible as this? Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider 10/05/2024
While not quite as intense as its first season, the second season of Suspect is still very watchable because of the well-paced half-hour episodes and a cast that can handle its tell-don’t-show storytelling. Go to Full Review

It really is as mad as a box of frogs. I don’t even know if I like it or hate it, but I did laugh (inappropriately) a lot... Go to Full Review

With each episode just half an hour long it is possible, and probably advisable, to take Suspect in small doses. Duff is unequivocally great. Go to Full Review

Mrs P @RT85491777 Jul 6 Truly terrible. Overacted, loud music, scenes totally unrealistic. Seems like every bad crime/psychological cliche was chucked in there! What a waste of a brilliant cast! See more AmazinglyAni B @RT42492582 May 14 Disappointing I really quite enjoyed season 1 but found season 2 to be very corny 🌽 and unconvincing at times I would cringe 😬 watching it. Not sure what went wrong in season 2 but I was disappointed. 😞 See more Simon C @RT68536535 03/03/2025 Duff is appalling in this role - I have rarely seen such overacting compounded by an erratic storyline See more 'Woody' D @DontMakeMeYawn 02/20/2025 Yawn, I was hoping this would get better as the story evolved but similar to season 1, the plot hinges on accomplishing way too much within a very short timeframe. Unlike other viewers, I found the half hour segments too short. See more Louise M @RT08346200 02/07/2025 Absolutely awful don’t waste your time watching this. It’s like the script was given to them on the day of filming. So great actors in it but it’s like they’ve been thrown in the deep end! The music just constantly goes straight through you See more Neal C @RT13750470 01/27/2025 It kept promising to get better, the acting was atrocious and so was the dialogue, what a shame.
