...'Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26' is an ideal anthology for delving into the complex inner world of the author of 'Chainsaw Man' and also a fascinating introduction for animation fans. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Some tales are short walks. Others long. But all feel like scenic routes viewers unsuspectedly get enraptured in as they waltz down memory lane of one of manga’s boldest creators. Go to Full Review

Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 emphasizes the compelling elements in these stories while minimizing the flaws. It’s pulpy, thorny, uncomfortable, and rough in spots, but it makes for a wild ride. Go to Full Review

See more Michael Antony A @RT48850580 Dec 4 Mikey’s TV Review: Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 (2025) This series of one-shots would be impressive in its own right, but that it sprung from the imagination of a single young aspiring artist is outstanding. Between the ages of 17 and 26 Fujimoto created these stories and layed the foundations in Manga form which have now been beautifully reinterpreted into 8 stories by 7 directors from 6 different studios. From the sweet to the bizarre each work offers a unique and engaging viewing experience. And yes, some land better than others. Yet even when some of the episodes feature fantastical elements (aliens, vampires, mermaids), most simply involve humans. With themes about relationships, love, loneliness, connection, family… Now that Fujimoto has broken through into the international mainstream with current film - Chainsaw Man, this is a fascinating, thought-provoking peak into his past, to a point where his undeniable talent began. For Anime fans this is gold! Mikey’s TV Rating: 4/5* See more Abhay P @AbhayPratik Nov 8 Must see. Beautiful and sometimes chaotic. See more Read all reviews
