I have faith that Ted Lasso will go from strength to strength in this new incarnation — after all, it’s the show that persuaded us all to believe. Go to Full Review

Ted Lasso won’t save the world, but at least it’ll make us feel a little bit better about it, for 40 minutes at a time. Go to Full Review

Waddingham’s passionate delivery makes an effective case to viewers. Even in the wide world of sports movies and shows, men and women are treated differently. For the reasons Rebecca spells out, they shouldn’t be. Go to Full Review

For a show that once made optimism feel revolutionary, I expected more than familiar comforts; a willingness to confront the realities of women’s sport rather than wrap them in Ted Lasso’s trademark positive flair. Go to Full Review

While the new season has a rocky start, with some significant pacing issues, once it gets going, we see what made it so special to many in the first place. Go to Full Review

The strength of Ted Lasso, thus, remains in the quiet, slow change it brings about, just like its central character and his constant nudging towards a fair, equal, and kinder world. Go to Full Review

Kay H @kmhouse10 1 day ago Extremely contrived and emotionally manipulative / thin plotting — familiar characters started to annoy greatly — all except the great Roy Kent ! See more Nigel D @Nigel365 2 days ago Another great series follow on from what was a fantastic 3 series with the boys team. Introducing the girls team was genius, and hit the right spot, in my opinion, for the audience. Well done guys and looking forward to the next season. See more amelia D @coolgirl1 3 days ago I appreciate the shift to support women in sports but I really missed the guys team. It was too drastic of a change. Season 4 didn’t meet my Ted Lasso expectations but I did love that we got to see a lot of Roy and the reunion with him and Keeli! See more Avo C @AvoCohn 4 days ago I just watched the last episode. It’s such a good season! But you have to watch it all the way through to fully appreciate it. I absolutely loved it. It’s really profound and moving. The last 15 minutes were amazing. See more Phillip H @RT58181597 4 days ago I couldn’t get through the second episode. The three seasons were great. This season was full of political propaganda from the start. All the characters seemed absolutely different. See more Ryan K @ryan_k1 5 days ago Tedious situational comedy. Season four of Ted Lasso brings back many of the main characters from the previous seasons and adds a few new kooky characters that are more annoying than entertaining. The season is plagued by characters having personal revelations multiple times each episode. This writing decision wears thin quickly and makes much of the season feel like a slog. The football scenes are still gripping and paired with a great score. The show provides a cursory examination of the disparities between men's and women's professional sports which could have been interesting. The show mostly examines these aspects via one-liners however. Additionally, because of the size of the cast, limited time is devoted to the struggles of many of the footballers as they try to balance playing football with their other responsibilities. Overall, I think season four of Ted Lasso shares similarities with the previous seasons, but it is far from must-watch television. See more Read all reviews
