As twisted as it is, the story never forgets to give us some depth of feeling about all the players, no matter which side they are on. Go to Full Review

It’s a corkscrewing drama that paints a nuanced portrait of a country often caricatured as one-dimensionally theocratic and anti-Western. Just as importantly, it ratchets up the tension with bruising panache. Go to Full Review

“Tehran” is no longer a show that gives insight into the frustrations of Iranian youth or the identity conflict of Israeli immigrants; it’s just a Bond ripoff with a dash of Farsi. Go to Full Review

Typical shoot and cry nonsense, where everyone acts like their actions have a purpose despite the show doing a poor job of explaining the exact mechanics of what they’re trying to do. Go to Full Review

Israel has produced several masterfully crafted, suspenseful espionage dramas in recent years and Tehran is one of the very best. Go to Full Review

John B @JohnBaron Apr 5 Starts off fast, slows down and then speeds up at the end. More typical undercover spy work this season, with a few good side-characters. Every episode moves the plot forward in some way. The main downside is that the show suffers from time-wasting scenes that are meant to be tense but obviously will not come to anything, usually involving guard checks. Some of the cast are uninteresting characters, which makes it easy to see who is getting killed off. Except for the undercover scenes at parties etc., Faraz's story is better written and much more emotionally impactful. I found Milad to be quite a boring and annoying character. The main lead also makes a lot of stupid mistakes, yet Mossad keeps deploying her into high-risk situations. Still a good 7/10 show you can watch before Season 3 if you have watched all the best shows already. See more Ahmed J @AHMEDJOSEPH Feb 15 A practical example of how minds are washed and reality is distorted: you can kill children, but if you have money and influence, don't worry—we'll fabricate a story that makes you the victim. See more max w @MaxWax Feb 11 The main characters act stupidly and just happen to always be in the right place at the right time. Utter nonsense. See more Jim C. @J.Randolph Feb 7 The main characters growth snd consequential interest is slowed. The show begins to drag. See more Stephen C @bob25009 Feb 6 8 successful Apple TV+ episodes.
