I should hate it, and I sort of do, and yet I also don’t, which I appreciate is confusing when it comes to a review. In truth, I can’t stop watching it... Go to Full Review

As a premise, it could have been plundered from Ken Loach’s dustbin. But rather than a harrowing tale of housing insecurity, we get a breezy comedy... Go to Full Review

Laura F @RT70038750 07/04/2024 I am a big fan of Beth O’Leary’s writing and was very pleased to see her book portrayed on screen so superbly! It is so rare that a book makes it to screen without losing its appeal! See more Lucy M @RT27299451 01/13/2024 An excellent adaptation of the book - the lead actors were especially good. Loved the way it had been transposed to a very contemporary London- not all of it rang true, but for a romantic fantasy it was fairly gritty. The first 3 episodes were really absorbing, but I felt like the romantic tension kind of withered away in the later episodes as other plotlines took over. Unfortunately both the exes were caricatures, especially Justin. But then I did find some of those scenes a bit cringey in the book too. I think it could have been tighter at 4 episodes and kept the romantic tension going. In the end I got frustrated at how wet Leon was. But I loved the 2 main actors overall. See more Jonetta A @Jonetta 10/08/2023 I read the book and the screen adaptation is dead on! Perfect casting and loved the performances. Binged through all 6 episodes in one sitting. See more Dollface172 B @RT71736240 07/23/2023 Absolutely loved this show! Will watch again start to finish for sure See more Stuart K @RT52330010 06/22/2023 Strong cast with good chemistry between the 5 different couples in the series. Just enough sub plots to keep it ticking along. A very good sit-rom-com. See more Nozipho D @RT34382314 05/13/2023 Great acting but every single character on this show is imsufferable See more Read all reviews
