I really loved this show. It's kind of a twist on the whole cult concept. Is this supposed to be for kids? Because I felt chills and I'm an adult. Maybe for teens, but definitely not younger.

We were looking for a scary show to watch for Halloween and my kids and I really enjoyed The Girl in the Woods. I love that it showcased tough, kick-ass females, rather than the damsels in distress waiting to be rescued that I grew up. I thought all the characters were well developed and so likeable, and the monsters and special effects were creepy and amazing as well. The final episode left us hoping for a second season!

If you're looking for something like Buffy or Charmed, then this is your series. It's been great to see this concept go from Youtube to a full series. Fingers crossed for a season 2 and would love to see more series like this from Crypt TV.

Crypt Tv has a great track record on YouTube, and it continues with this Peacock series.

I find the show to be quite fun. The characters are well thought out and the story is unpredictable which makes me want to continue watching the next episodes. I'm also a big fan of CryptTV. Definitely a binge watch for the Halloween season! Good job Peacock!

I am not the audience for this show, I am speaking more from a parent's view I suppose though I have no kids. I watched just one episode and a little of the 2nd. I doubt I can watch any more as I find it shallow, trite and just a recycling of so many shows geared to youth. That's one of the things that happens to us as we age, we see the redundancy of most Hollywood product and see it gets worse and worse as it tries to remake the past. Why do they speak so low to their audience these days? Do they simply make negative assumptions or are they simply more in tune with the masses more than I want to believe? In any case, I would not want my young child, watching this as they promote sex (especially same sex attractions), smoking and drugs. I realize young people are aware of these things, experiment and are curious about them however Hollywood (these days) always seems to make them appear as something "cool" without exploring them with any intelligence or reality. It is not helpful to present these things as cool, just as the anti-social/anti-adult attitudes presented are not something to aspire to. Just try working on a film set and display just an INKING of anti-authority thinking! You're thrown off the set and blacklisted!! NO KIDDING! It's an industry that doesn't practice what it preaches AT ALL so I don't understand why they like to promote this behavior other than for... money.... :( I know many parents aren't that great but does it help to show them so bad that they are incredibly mean to their kids and stupid in their shallow attitudes? I don't think so. Middle class family with two "cool" kids who are, in the eyes of Hollywood, more grown up and together than the grown ups. This is typical of what Hollywood has been feeding our young people for a long time now. Some kids might relate to it but I wonder if they're not the more troubled ones who would benefit from viewing healthier relationships and living habits. I know they are harder to dramatize but so what, try. It's been done. This is the kind of programming that is angering many parents these days as they see it teaching bad and confusing morals. Of course parents should/could make the time to spend with their kids and discuss the issues on this show in a supportive, non-threatening way but many would not. So it could be these houses where the kids are drawn to shows like this. It's a complex issue but I was not keen on watching this as an adult, I would prefer my child watching more intelligent, thought provoking material that wasn't centered on the shallowness of "coolness", looks and anti-authority behavior. I would say that youth younger than 18-20 shouldn't find a reason to watch this show nor would anyone older than 21 find much value in it. I would never have liked it at any age, I'm pretty sure but that's just me. I always preferred a good book over television my entire youth and sill do today. Not that ALL of it is bad but it just never interested me. A book launched my imagination and thought process... TV doesn't do that too often. I good movie can be thought provoking and intelligent as well but books are by far the best for those with these interests.

Love these characters! Such a fun series. Easily watchable. Cool world building but also juicy teen drama, love triangles (a queer love triangle!) with some genuinely scary and heartbreaking moments. Worth the watch!
