Season 4 added a little too much quark, but the show is still amazing and a must watch.

The show is still fun to watch, but the subplots are growing a little tiresome. Not a giant fan of the Erica and Geoff plot device. Comparing to the previous years, this season is a little flat in the story department. 29/08/2019

Still riding on the success of recreating nostalgic '80s moments, S4 of "The Goldbergs" seems to have sharpen their script to offer much funnier moments and some ridiculous gags.

This show is still entertaining and Wendi McLendon-Covey still is hilarious.

Fourth season of previously mediocre series has become almost unwatchable. After dealing with Beverly's abandonment issues almost every episode for three seasons I naively believed that season 4 (due to Adam being in high school) would finally overcome the core problem of the series and start building plot on other bases. But no! It gets worse. Even the characters are not likable anymore. Adam is weird and not funny, Pops is absolutely useless, Barry is annoying and pretty unrealistic for his age and Murray is just there in his underpants, as always. Even the one character that actually resembled a normal teenager with her cool attitude (Erica) got ruined with her stupid Geoff - love storyline. The Goldbergs need to reinvent itself. Urgently!
