08/29/2021 No women finalist, no Black finalist... where is the diversity? Of the 3 co-signers, two are women and two of them people of color... so I don't understand how they perpetuated the status quo. I am also perplexed by the way the judges allowed one of the male contestants to continuously disrespect them then decline to send him home. And the one time a talented female won, they didn't even send anyone home. The contestants were all talented so this isn't a matter of the "best person" winning. Because even out of the two left standing, they chose the wrong one. What message are we sending to young girls and POC? I am supremely disappointed. See more 08/18/2021 This gets one star for a few reasons. For one It is definitely biased. I don't know why but I do know the executive director is also a judge which shows blatantly. He has so much control that he dictates to the client what he likes. Two Some people who had clothes not meeting requirements were praised even though the quality and thought process were not complex or intriguing. Third,( I know it's one season but it is on hbo so…) the Production quality could have been better. The one of few designers that crushed it and got sent home with a killer futuristic street outfit.
